Thank You To NBM Technology Solutions

Watchfront would like to thank Dave Bull & everybody at NBM technology for the invite to the ‘New Different Better 17’ event held in London yesterday.

I found it interesting, made some good contacts & hopefully will be able to do some business in the future!

Portable layer 2 Connection

As part of our dedication to innovate solutions to meet customer needs we have provided a portable Layer 2 connection for one of our customers.

This uses two Firebricks (FB2700) in conjunction with a 4G Dongle.

This set up will be used by the customer for when there is maintenance work on their main connection allowing them to route through to their data-centre at a layer 2 level directly.

New Customer

Watchfront would like to thank Freshfield Services for becoming the first customer to use our point of presence in Market House, Wokingham.

We are pleased to be providing them a low latency connection at a very competitive rate.

Point of Presence

We are very pleased with our new Fibre line into our office that we have decided not to keep it all to ourselves.  With Watchfront’s point of presence, in Market House Wokingham, we can now offer leased line services to other tenants.

Trial of new FTTC service

Next week Watchfront are trialling a new FTTC service from a different supplier.  Our guinea pigs are all set and are looking forward to the trial.

If successful Watchfront will offer FTTC from two different providers.
The new offering will however be a fixed price which we feel will benefit our customers greatly.

We will have an update on this over the next few weeks.

Future FireBricks

Watchfront are looking forward to the new model of FireBricks which are under development.

The FB2900 will have new updated hardware and will offer new features.

These are expected later this year!

Office Connectivity

Watchfront are taking advantage of their new leased line capacity by installing a new leased line in our main office.

This will insure the best connectivity for our support staff to help provide the best possible service for our customers.

Improved Connectivity Options

As part of our drive to give the best options for customers we are preparing to expand our leased line providers giving more choice.
Further to this we are also doubling capacity with our current suppliers through new interconnects for DSL and Leased Line connections.
This is all part of our drive to give the best possible offerings from diverse suppliers.

With the new year we have brought a brand new feature to our website. In conjunction with Westwon we now have Hire Purchase and Lease calculators to give guidance to customers seeking finance for their purchases.
