| 2012-01-31 19:02:01 | kev | All BT connected ADSL & FTTC lines were down from 18:56 until 19:12 this evening. Most lines have now reconnected. If yours have not, they should automatically do so within an hour; alternatively you may like to try power-cycling your router.
The outage was within one of our wholesale suppliers network and appears to be an unexpected side effect of some maintenance they are currently doing. Apologies for the inconvenience. |
| 2012-01-23 17:46:43 | phil | An LNS switch over caused all our BT connections to drop for a few seconds. If you are still without service a router power cycle should return services to normal. We apologise for any inconvenience. |
| 2011-11-15 14:21:41 | kev | All BT connected ADSL went offline a few minutes ago and are now re-connecting gradually. We are investigating the cause. |
| 2011-11-02 14:02:08 | kev | Customers may have noticed brief periods of packet loss at 11:22 this morning. Our main transit provider in Maidenhead suffered an outage at that time. Our network detected this within a few seconds, resulting in all traffic automatically being routed via Amsterdam and very little disruption, but apologies to anyone who was affected. |
| 2011-10-21 09:06:12 | kev | All BT based ADSL lines went down at approximately 08:40 this morning and are gradually re-connecting. Apologies for the inconvenience. If and when we learn from BT the reason, we'll update this message.

| 2011-10-21 06:42:34 | mike | All our BE lines suffered an outage between approximately 19:23 and 19:28 yesterday - we have been notified of a data-centre power-failure event that affected our BE provider, and that correlates with these times. Power was restored quickly, and the provider's equipment was back online by 19:28 - it looks like all our BE lines reconnected very soon afterwards. If you are still without a connection, please try rebooting your router. Apologies for any disruption this may have caused. |
| 2011-07-29 09:12:40 | phil | Some Be connections dropped yesterday evening for a very short period. Some routers have failed to log back in and will need power cycling. |
| 2011-07-20 18:50:13 | mike | Some of our BE and a few of our BT lines dropped at around 5.30pm - some have not come back yet, so please try rebooting router(s) if you are still experiencing loss of service. |
| 2011-06-12 16:25:38 | kev | Over the last 24 hours we have had a few slightly less severe repeats of the connectivity problems in 'mha'. We have identified and disabled a misbehaving virtual server that appears to have been generating traffic that was causing port resets of our FB6000 firewall / edge router 'grappa'. The FireBrick software team have identified a potential cause for this behaviour and an update to improve robustness will be applied once some bench testing has been carried out. Apologies for the disruption. |
| 2011-06-11 14:39:20 | kev | Between 13:40 and 14:30 we suffered some co-lo connectivity issues in our 'mha' datacentre. We have seen some unexpected entries in the logs of an edge router. All appears well again for now, but we are investigating the significance of these. |
| 2011-06-08 18:47:09 | mike | Most, if not all, our BT lines dropped at around 18:20. Lines are reconnecting but there are some still down. As usual, if you have lines that have not recovered, we advise rebooting associated routers. We are looking into the cause of this outage, apologies for any disruption caused. |
| 2011-05-24 15:10:05 | mike | There was a brief blip at 13:42 which affected all our BT ADSL lines. We're currently looking into the cause of this problem. Apologies for any disruption this may have caused. |
| 2011-05-17 08:14:38 | phil | There was an unexplained outage just after 02:00 last night, most connections have re established themselves, a few need to have their router re booted. |
